Korean BBQ Garden in Soho KL is easily one with a good grill that delivers native tastes to the many Koreans here in Mont Kiara. On top of the wide range of meat that’s perfect for any barbequing occasion, classic Korean ala carte dishes are available.
A warm bowl of Sundubu Jigae (RM 25) fills the stomach with warm and delicious soft tofu and savoury spicy stew will effortlessly gratifies your need to refill your white rice. And the no minimum order of meat grills lets you enjoy your meat at anytime. Samgyeopsal (RM 28) is decent and straightforward even more if you get the staffs to grill them for you.
Be it on or off the grill, or whether you’re an adamant meat lover of foodie that enjoys every bit of those side dishes, this will be a great place to be. My absolute love is the Yangnyeom Gejang that is almost impossible to find anywhere else within this neighbourhood. Try your luck asking for this spicy marinated raw crab because it is not commonly served amongst their range of side dishes so hopefully if you ask, you may get them. Don’t tell them I spill this but they only serve this on complimentary to the natives and occasionally the regulars. If you get them on your first visit, don’t forget to thank the owner.
With a good choice of traditional dishes and BBQ, Soju (RM 25) or any other alcohol drink accompanies the dishes well. This is perfect for dinner for two or large parties, as well as families and friends because the place is crowd friendly.
