Eat your way to Seoul with Mr.Churro Malaysia!

 

Mr. Churro Malaysia in Midvalley megamall is currently running their contest for a chance to win a pair of tickets to South Korea. This really is the best time to go ahead and drop by for some of those tasty long star shaped snack with fillings or dips of your choice.

 

 

Watching how these lengths of choux pastry being piped from a star-shaped nozzle directly into the oil, and then later on sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, this one is recommended for those sweet tooth who like their churros hot and freshly made. Founded in Seoul in 2013, Mr Churro Malaysia has got a profound rendition into perfecting the flavours that’s love by fellow Malaysians. There is the Original Churro (Plain, Cinnamon or Milo) for RM 5.50 and an additional RM 1.40 for those lovely dips (salted caramel, strawberry, nutella).

 

 

Then, there are of course a couple more of other flavours so why settle for one when you can have more? They have this Specialty Choco Chrunch Churro (RM 7.90) and the Cookies and Cream Churro (RM 7.90) that’s funky and exciting. I personally think that the later has slight advantage with the addition of moist from those luscious cookies and cream cheese piped onto the entire churro.

 

 

Quench the thirst and enjoy their fun beverage at RM 5.90 each. They have few creative recipe when it comes to making the fancy mocktails but their churro is absolutely the draw factor.

Brand New Menu at the Italiannies

 

Malaysians are well acquainted with the Italianies. They are regarded as the place for good quality and defined Italian classics. Launching its brand new menu at the Italiannies in The Gardens, we are celebrating both small plates and mains with comfy and cozy vibes from the rustic amber-lit setting. With plenty of date night potential in such environs and taste that warrants dining satisfaction, we begin with Bruschetta where homemade Tuscan bread is topped with truffle, chickpea puree, and sautéed mushrooms.

 

 

Buoyed by the success of the toast, we move to The spinach and Artichoke Formaggio (RM 33.70). This spinach, artichoke and mushrooms in a creamy blend of fresh cheeses, topped with sun – dried tomatoes for the tang and served with toasted garlic bread is an obvious triumph packed with flavours. At the same time I also loved our Classic Caesar, the Italian style with toasted focaccia croutons. The fresh crunchy leafs are stacked right to the brim so once again, this one is the largest serving and is perfect for communal eating.

 

 

Then it’s our main’s turn to shine. Classic favourites such as Spaghetti & Meatballs and Fettuccine Carbonara remain in the pasta section but my all time favorite is the Angel Hair Arrabbiata (RM 23.30). You get whole peeled red tomatoes sautéed with garlic in a light tomato and basil sauce; this is the simple comfort that’s rewarding with such quality ingredients. Rooting the Italian tradition in these pasta dishes, pasta lovers can treat the palate with that classic Italian flavours.

 

 

Don’t forget the perfect Rack of Lamb that’s great for a special relaxing indulgence, and is, a looker, consisting tasty mash beneath those handsome racks. The flavours worked beautifully. And taking pride in their consistent texture and handmade and proofed daily, every pizza is prepared to order and made to perfect rustic brown with extravagant and clever creations. Look out for is the Carbonara Pizza for those who enjoy something more savoury-creamy—a white sauce base topped with smoked duck bacon, Pecorino, Mozzarella cheese and an egg. And for those who go big on their pizza orders, take note that the crowd-favourite 16-inch Enorme is still available on the new menu.

 

 

And a little something for that sharing treat, there is chicken and seafood dishes that is superb for communal dining.
