Starting 16 May to 14 June 2018, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur celebrates the Ramadan Buka Puasa buffet this year with the very authentic Malaysian favourites. Priced at RM 138 nett per person and half price for children between 6 to 12 years old, we are looking at Malay classics like sambal sotong petai, ayam percik, kerabu and sup tulang rawan. Of course, the must have bubur lambuk, as well as the daily roasted whole lamb.
Some traditional favourites for the breaking of fast is definitely a must have and along with the lively ambience of this dining experience is where food authenticity in the buffet preparations were greatly emphasised on. The mandatory Bubur Lambuk, and some amazing starters like Sup Tulang Rawan and mains like the Kari Kambing dengan Ubi kentang and Ayam Percik already giving the festive vibe inevitably. And that daily Roasted whole lamb with some other live stations cooking your noodles and grilling the Satays were some of the favourites at the preview of the Ramadhan buffet.
Others include the fresh seafood, as well as the Chinese and Indian hot selections including the Braised broccoli and scallop with crab meat sauce, Wok fried black pepper beef, with Mutton biryani rice with cucumber raita and Amchoori bhindi to name a few. And like every other buffet, the sweet ending is going to be a showcase of gorgeous colours including some Malay kuih such as the Ondeh-ondeh, Kuih Ketayap, Lopes gula Melaka and Biah melaka kukus.
