Lina celebrates birthday with Velvet love by chef Balqis
Not too long ago, I published the Proposal Project by caterer Frames Practigance . Recently, we threw Lina a surprise birthday party. The birthday girl definitely is the princess for the day while the rest of us (especifically FD) had to do the cleaning which inevitable follows.
Now we have all seen the amazing natural talent of Mark in presentation, but this time we see another hidden talent of this amazing handcraft blogger whom decorated the tasty cake baked by chef Balqis. A pharmacist by day and a remarkable baker at night showed off her skills in this lovely velvet cream cheese cake with stalks of blooming pink roses decorated by the creative Siew Wei whom had so much passion for pretty things.
Lina was definitely please with this surprise party planned by the loving husband. She is also delighted with such a pretty cake as well, so much that not one of us managed to convince her to cutting the cake.
At least, we get to have the amazing Black Angus beef done by Mark whom did the most amazing presentation of Caesar salad I have ever had years back. The beef were perfectly done and served with some baby potatoes and green salad with Mark’s special dressing.
We waited quite abit for Lina to give us the green light cause all of us, just couldn’t resist such beautiful cake. We only got to eat the cake after a good 15-20 mins of her staring and admiring the cake.
Lina was completely berserk during dinner and the cheerful birthday girl definitely managed to make the boys looking rather “lovely” as well.
I certainly hope that Lina did enjoy the big day to the fullest because I know the rest of us did.
